Key Responsibilities

HIS Mastery & Vendor Accountability
Manage all HIS modules, ensure data integrity, generate reports, and hold vendors accountable for resolution and SLAs.

System Integrations & API Management
Oversee integrations with insurance portals, MoH dashboards, PACS, LIS, HR/Payroll, pharmacy systems & more.

Staff Training & Departmental Support
Train and support staff across all departments; develop SOPs and user guides.

Insurance Portal & Claims Management
Ensure accurate pre-authorisations, claims submissions, eligibility verification & reconciliation.

Infrastructure & Security Oversight
Monitor servers, networks, backups, cybersecurity, and system performance.

Reporting, Analytics & Compliance
Provide actionable insights and ensure compliance with healthcare & data regulations.

Project & Change Management
Lead system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.

Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving
Diagnose issues, reproduce errors, and drive timely resolutions with evidence.

Candidate Requirements

Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics or related field.

Experience
5+ years in IT within a hospital or multi-site healthcare environment. Proven experience managing HIS, integrations, insurance systems, and vendor relationships.

Technical Competencies
HIS/HMIS/ERP systems, APIs & integrations, networking, databases (SQL), Windows Server / Linux, cybersecurity basics. Familiarity with insurance portals, claims systems, and healthcare workflows.

Behavioural Competencies
Analytical, detail-oriented, fast learner, excellent trainer. Strong problem-solver and vendor manager. Effective communicator and team collaborator.
